Cornish Motorhome Hire – Another Successful Journey
2022 is almost over, and plans are being drawn up for the year ahead. Cornish Motorhome Hire have enjoyed yet another successful year, hiring out motorhomes to holidaymakers and those who simply wish to take a short break away from the hustle and bustle of working life. We feel very fortunate to have remained busy during the past 12 months, with people still wishing to take to the road and experience the freedom a motorhome offers. With the economy in turmoil, we are grateful that our vehicles afford customers the option of touring the UK, in addition to being able to travel abroad at a fraction of the cost, as compared to traditional package holidays.
A Brand-New Vehicle – ‘Starchaser’
Halfway through the 2022 season, we welcomed Starchaser, an elegantly designed Roller Team 747 complete with Wi-Fi, satellite television and habitation air-conditioning. Beautifully appointed, this motorhome is exquisitely furnished, and is capable of sleeping up to six people.

One of the things we always aim to do as a business, is to provide top-quality, reliable motorhomes for our customers, at competitive prices. Whilst we are doing our best to keep prices down, the cost of new motorhomes has shot up, with the factory announcing price rises before vehicles are even delivered. This makes upgrading to more brand-new vehicles very financially difficult at this moment in time.
We are countering this by keeping ‘Sundancer’ on the books for another year.
Beachcomber – Available for Winter
Beachcomber is perfect for couples, families or small groups. Modern and well-appointed, it can sleep up to six people and is an Auto Roller 746 coach-built motorhome.
There are six legal travelling seats in this vehicle, including the two in the cab. To relax at the end of a busy day exploring, there is a ‘king size’ over-cab bed, in addition to two convertible double beds. The washroom houses a shower, basin and toilet, whilst the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, 3-ring gas hob, and oven and a sink.

‘Beachcomber’ is the only one of our motorhomes available all the way through from now until the start of our full new season in March. With its warm air heating system, you can travel in comfort, whatever the weather. Travel Abroad with Cornish Motorhome Hire & Britanny Ferries!
Travelling in one of our vehicles, gives you the option to hop on a ferry and take yourself to France or Spain and discover the many delights these destinations have on offer, without being tied to one location. We are only approximately a 30-minute drive from the ferry port in Plymouth, allowing you to board the ferry and be relaxing on the decks in no time, ready to start your escapade!

For 2023, we are approaching Brittany Ferries, to try and offer something special for a trip to Spain. We are very excited about the possibilities, and hope to offer our customers a great adventure opportunity to Northern Spain where you can enjoy fabulous food and drink at reasonable prices, great weather, great beaches and the mountains of the Picos de Europa National Park.

Local Charity Fundraising – Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust
Helping the local community is something we at Cornish Motorhome Hire are very passionate about. This year, we decided that we would support the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust by donating 1% of booking fees to this worthy cause. Since 1987, they have been sent out on 31,000+ missions to help save those in need, providing critical care and saving countless lives. With an on-board paramedic aircrew, the helicopter can be on the scene within 12 minutes in the Cornwall vicinity.

Online customer donations from bookings totalled £420, with an additional £30 donated in person. We doubled this to £60 and added it to donate £480. Due to the fact that our donation was made during the Christmas campaign, it was matched by a couple of their donors, bringing the grand total to £960! We are extremely honoured to know that our business will in some way help to save lives.
